Every piece we sell is one of one. Once it’s gone, it’s gone — so we keep our returns policy short and honest about what we can and can’t do.

In store, at Brick Lane

All sales are final. You’ve seen the piece, handled it, and tried it on. We’re always happy to talk you through condition, measurements and fit before you buy — please ask.

Online, UK orders

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to let us know you’d like to cancel, and a further 14 days to send it back. Email info@deadsealondon.com to start a return.

• The piece must come back unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition it was sent, with any tags still attached.
• You cover the return postage. We’d recommend a tracked service — until it reaches us, it’s your parcel.
• We refund the price of the item, within 14 days of it arriving back with us. Original delivery costs aren’t refunded.
• If a piece comes back worn, altered, or in worse condition than it left, we won’t accept the return. We’ll let you know, and you’ll need to arrange and pay for postage to have it sent back to you.

Online, orders outside the UK

All sales are final. We don’t accept returns from outside the UK — international return shipping and customs handling cost more than most of the pieces we sell, and we’d rather be straight with you upfront than bury it in the small print.

So read the measurements carefully before you order. Every listing gives you the size on the tag and the garment measured flat, because vintage sizing rarely matches modern sizing. If you’re between sizes or unsure about anything, email us before you buy — we’ll measure a piece again, send extra photos, whatever you need. We’d much rather answer ten questions than have you receive something that doesn’t fit.

If something’s wrong with your UK order

If a piece arrives damaged, isn’t what was described, or isn’t what you ordered, tell us within 14 days and we’ll put it right — return postage covered by us, and a full refund or replacement, your choice.

None of this affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
